All payments are processed securely via PayFast — South Africa's leading payment gateway. We accept: Credit card (Visa & Mastercard), Debit card, Instant EFT, Mobicred (30-day interest-free credit), and MoreTyme (3 equal interest-free payments via TymeBank). We do not accept cash, direct bank transfer, or any other payment methods. All transactions are 256-bit SSL encrypted. Smart Basics never sees or stores your card details.
All orders ship FREE via The Courier Guy — no minimum spend, no exceptions. Delivery takes 2–5 working days nationwide from our closest warehouse (Midrand, Cape Town, Durban or Port Elizabeth). Orders are processed on business days (Monday–Friday). You will receive a tracking number via email once your order is dispatched. We do not deliver to Postnet or PO Boxes — a physical street address is required.
We offer a 7-day return window from the date of delivery. Items must be in original, unused condition with all original packaging. To initiate a return, contact us on WhatsApp (082 209 3389) or email admin@smart-basics.com with your order number and reason. If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, photograph it and contact us within 48 hours — we will arrange a free replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
